Q & A

Q & A

The “soft  surgery” treatment of the Plasma Pen can treat almost any issue that a client might be struggling with in regards to skin.

The procedure is best known for its all natural approach for treating sagging skin and wrinkles.  Fibroblast Skin Tightening can also treat host of other skin issues including:

  • Saggy Skin
  • Wrinkles
  • Skin tags
  • Skin tag removal
  • Acne scars
  • Stretch marks
  • Surgical scars
  • Skin pigmentation issues

Some of the most amazing transformations come in the way of the lifting of the face and neck!

You will be amazed at the tightening effect!

Downtime will depend a lot on your skin.

Most clients will take about 5-7 days before all of the swelling has gone down.  However the deeper layers of the skin will still be in the healing process for up to 6 weeks and during this period the results of the skin tightening treatment will continue to improve.

We suggest Mineral Make-up for the period when clients are healing and appropriate clothing to disguise the small marks left by the Plasma Pen.

On average we suggest that clients will want to purchase a package of 3-5 treatments. This completely depends of the damage to the dermis.  In some cases like with Skin Tag Removal or Wart Removal only one session is required.

We don’t think so and especially not with our experienced tech and top notch state of the art equipment.

For many, our Plasma Pen treatment is virtually a pain-free treatment and is often described as merely tingly. We see many clients fall asleep during their procedure. However, the treatment may be moderately uncomfortable depending on you and where you are being treated.

Eyelid procedures (where the skin is at its thinnest) can be more painful for some people but our device, plasma delivery and super-fine probes allow us to work quickly and efficiently and this minimizes potential discomfort.

We will numb the area before treatment and sometimes during too. For treatments on large areas, we will typically “numb as they go” so that the numbing effects don’t wear off while we are still working.

It’s all relative too – think how painful something like cosmetic surgery can be after a procedure when your anaesthetic wears off.

Aftercare treatment is very straightforward and mostly common sense.

  • Keep the area clean
  • Wash it at least 2x per day with a mild soap
  • DO NOT rub off the scabs for that could cause scaring
  • Allow the scabs to fall off natural for the best results
  • Icing will help with some swelling

If you are paying for an incredible treatment like this and investing in your beauty and you then willfully ignore the strict instructions we give you, you will not your achieve optimal results or you could possibly run into some post treatment issues.

Your technician will complete a detailed consultation with you, sometimes on the day of your treatment and sometimes before depending on your mutual preference and availability. They will complete detailed paperwork with you (such as consent forms) and will take before and after photographs since those are legally required for their insurance.

A typical consultation includes:

  • Full details of your skin type and history
  • Contraindications and relevant medical history
  • Your lifestyle (e.g. are you a smoker, do you use sunbeds, do you use fillers, have you had any recent cosmetic surgery)
  • Identifying what your expectations are, whether they are realistic and why you actually want treatment
  • Answering any questions you have
  • Explaining the treatment, the aftercare regime you will need to follow, the downtime, the likely recovery period and any other relevant information
  • Explaining the number and frequency of treatments you may require, if more than one
  • The cost and payment

We recommend a consultation for all our clients. A chance for you to meet us and us to meet you and assess your skin type, answer any questions you may have and put your mind at ease.

Another reason for the consultation is to share the costs with you of your treatment. Discuss if one visit will complete you ideal results or if we need to book a couple.

Our treatment is probably the fastest out there thanks to our spectacular plasma delivery, the incredible ergonomic and lightweight design of our Plasma Pen, the tiniest probes and the best technician training and support that is available.

There are a bevy of treatments available (see our Services Page) but, to give you some examples, it should about 30 to 40 minutes to treat your upper or lower eye areas. Procedures like a full neck treatment or a full forehead lift will be longer and prior to any treatment you will have the area numbed.

Depending on the numbing and pre-treatment products used, the length of your pre-treatment consultation, the forms you will need to complete, and the aftercare advice provided to you after your treatment, then this will of course extend the overall time you will spend in our treatment clinic.

Plasma Pen is really not an expensive treatment given the amazing results we can deliver for you.

On average, most new single Plasma Pen treatments are around $400-$500 per area per treatment and this would be for areas like the upper or lower eyelids. More complex and more time-consuming procedures, such as a full face-lift, a neck or a forehead lift, breast lift or a jawline augmentation will likely be priced significantly higher as there is a great deal more time and work required.

Consider the many expensive and invasive alternatives out there like cosmetic surgery, think about the short term results but long term expense of some treatments like fillers and botox and think about other services and solutions which are often grossly inferior to ours or at least incomparable.
